Welcome to Virtual Yoga Events!
To summarize: By using Virtual Yoga Events you agree to these terms.
All about being a benevolent Yoga host
A host is someone who creates Yoga events using their own Yoga videos on the Virtual Yoga Events platform. There are a lot of details below involving payments, fees, taxes and restrictions that you should read in full if you are a host.
To become a host, simply request your online space to start your membership. When you join Virtual Yoga Events, you become part of the Virtual Yoga Events community.
As a host you make your virtual yoga events available on the platform, and we provide membership to your subscribers on a subscription basis via our payment partner Stripe. You may also sell drop-in tickets to your events, so guests can attend just one of your virtual yoga events.
We also handle payments issues such as fraud, chargebacks and resolution of payments disputes.
We try to provide timely access to your funds, generally payouts take place within one week, but you may occasionally experience delays in accessing your funds. We may also block or hold payments for violations of our policies or for compliance reasons, including collecting tax reporting information. When payments are delayed or blocked we try to communicate the reason to you promptly. If you have questions about a payments block, please reach out to us. In order to protect hosts, we may block guest payments if we believe them to be fraudulent.
Sometimes activities like refunds can put your account balance into the negative. If your balance becomes negative then we reserve the right to recover those funds from future payments.
As a host there is two types of fee associated with your membership on Virtual Yoga Events: the platform fee for subscriptions and the platform fee for drop-in ticket purchases.
- The subscription payment processing fee is 15% plus €1 per successful pledge.
- The drop-in ticket payment processing fee is 15% plus €1 per successful pledge.
